I’m UX Designer based in Los Angeles, currently designing at Epic Games on the Fortnite team. My passions lie in designing fun and welcoming experiences for all gamers regardless of their skill and identity.
At the age of 8, I taught myself graphic design and HTML/CSS because of a virtual pet game called Neopets. My goal was to share with the world how amazing my pets are, so I learned to design websites to help visitors easily learn about my pets in an accessible and intuitive way. At the time, I had no idea I had practiced fundamental UX principles.
I had planned to start a career in front-end development, before being exposed to UX design in an internship. I fell in love with how UX was a combination of problem solving and creativity and allowed me to interact directly with users to help improve the way they use technology.
Now, I’m a UX designer at Epic Games with a passion for making gaming experiences more diverse and inclusive for everyone. On the side, I manage a Discord community (BobaTalks) of over 4,000 members to help students navigate their career journey!
Through collaboration and bringing together everyone's unique experiences and ideas, we are able to spark creative solutions that would not be possible alone.
Being open to constructive criticism and feedback from others opens up opportunities for me to learn and grow to become a better designer than I was yesterday.
I've met so many supportive and passionate designers who helped me get to where I am now. I'm passionate about giving back and sharing my knowledge to help designers grow.
Currently, I play a lot of VALORANT, Genshin Impact, Hogwarts Legacy, and The Sims.
My current build is an OwLab Spring with EV-00 switches, and CRP Japanese Black Pink.
I love traveling! Some places I've been to are Seattle, NYC, Japan, South Korea, Jeju Island, Hong Kong, and Taiwan!
Currently, I'm watching Blue Lock, Chainsaw Man and Spy x Family. View my Anilist here.
